Ángel de Brito once again became a trend on social media, but this time not for a controversial comment about his colleagues, but for a revelation that left everyone speechless. On his X account (formerly Twitter), the host of LAM (Los Ángeles de la Mañana) dropped a bombshell: the eliminated contestants from Gran Hermano do not go to his show, and it’s not because he doesn’t want to receive them.
According to De Brito, the decision comes from above, and he directly pointed at Telefe, the channel that airs the reality show. «The eliminated GH contestants are not allowed to go to LAM. It’s not that I don’t want to receive them, it’s that the channel doesn’t authorize it,» the journalist wrote, making it clear that the problem is institutional and not personal.
But that wasn’t all. Ángel also complained that on other eltrece shows, like A la Barbarossa, the former ‘hermanitos’ can participate, which creates an uneven competition. «On A la Barbarossa they receive them, on LAM they don’t. Strange, isn’t it?» he added sarcastically.
The detail is not minor: LAM directly competes with Telefe’s prime time, where Gran Hermano airs. The measure, then, would be a strategy to not give airtime to the competing show. But De Brito didn’t stay silent and made it public, causing a stir on social media.
So far, neither Telefe nor the production of Gran Hermano have responded to the accusations. Meanwhile, fans of the reality show wonder if they will ever see their favorites on the LAM living room set. For now, Ángel has lit the fuse.
