The Argentine National Team defines its future in the 2026 World Cup and, if it finishes first, will play in Miami. There, Lionel Messi has a dream mansion valued at $10.7 million, with 974 square meters, private coastline, and 24-hour security.

La mansión de Messi en Miami: el refugio millonario donde la familia vuelve tras cada partido del Mundial

This Monday, the Argentine National Team faces Austria in Dallas in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup, with an eye on qualification. If Argentina wins and finishes first in Group J, La Scaloneta will move to Miami to play the round of 32. And there, just minutes from the stadium, Lionel Messi has his home: a luxury mansion he bought for $10.7 million in Fort Lauderdale.

The property is located in Bay Colony, one of the most exclusive residential areas in the region. It is the only gated single-family community with 24-hour security, ideal for the star’s privacy. The house, covering 974 square meters on a 1,765 m² lot, is on a cul-de-sac and has 50 meters of coastline on deep canals, perfect for navigating large yachts.

The purchase was managed by Team Simpkin, exclusive real estate partner of Inter Miami. Samuel Simpkin, team director, highlighted: «It is an honor to help this organization continue building its legacy.» The mansion, designed by renowned Lori Morris, was featured in Florida Design magazine as a «carefully curated modern waterfront property that personifies elegance, culture, art, and unique design.»

Inside, the house has nine full bathrooms, a powder room, and eight suites, two of them VIP. The master suite, where Messi surely rests, occupies 148 square meters. There is also an Italian kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, a fitness room and spa, entertainment lounge, executive office, and a foyer with an eight-meter-high vaulted ceiling. The garden includes a pool and two private docks.

The construction dates back to 1988, but the interior was renovated with luxury. According to the sales portal, the property was last sold 135 days ago for $9 million, a figure lower than what Messi paid. Additionally, the family must face annual taxes of $83,400 and an association fee of $500 per month.

While Argentina dreams of advancing in the World Cup, Messi already has his refuge secured in Miami. A home that combines privacy, luxury, and proximity to the stadium where he could play the next matches of La Scaloneta.
