Bullrich Celebrates Adorni's Departure: 'Great Step to Unblock Communication'

As soon as Milei announced Adorni's departure, Bullrich celebrated. 'Great step,' she said, and took aim at the Cabinet chief, who is under investigation for illicit enrichment.

Bullrich festejó la salida de Adorni: “Gran paso para destrabar la comunicación”

As soon as it was confirmed that Javier Milei had decided to remove Manuel Adorni from the presidential spokesperson role, Patricia Bullrich did not waste time. The libertarian senator, who leads the La Libertad Avanza bloc, used her X account to hit hard at the now-former spokesperson and celebrate his departure as a ‘great step to unblock the Government’s communication.’

‘Many successes in this new responsibility, Adrián Ravier. A great step to unblock the Government’s communication and clearly show the effort of all Argentines and the daily results,’ Bullrich wrote, just minutes after both Adorni and Milei himself announced that the new spokesperson would be Adrián Osvaldo Ravier, current LLA deputy for La Pampa.

Bullrich’s message was not coincidental. The senator has been maintaining strong differences with Adorni, whom she does not forgive for his repeated inconsistencies in explaining the origin of his assets since he arrived at the Casa Rosada. Just a few days ago, Bullrich had said that the Cabinet chief’s case ‘is more than a mistake’ and did not oppose the opposition moving forward with the request for interpellation and even his removal. ‘This is an ethical omission. And our Government has morality as state policy. And now, it will be the Justice system that will have to determine,’ she had fired.

Adorni has been under federal investigation for illicit enrichment for three months. And Bullrich, who was Minister of Security during Mauricio Macri’s government, does not hesitate to mark his territory. Meanwhile, Milei and Adorni himself were holding a meeting at the Quinta de Olivos, oblivious to the senator’s public blow.

The new spokesperson, Adrián Ravier, is 48 years old, originally from La Pampa, graduated as an economist from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), and is a staunch defender of the President’s economic ideas. He even co-wrote a book with Milei titled ‘The Battle for Macroeconomics: The Open Debate between Keynes, Friedman, Lucas, and Hayek.’ In addition to being a deputy, he presides over LLA in La Pampa.

Ravier is not exactly a moderate. In an interview last month, he stated: ‘There is no economic crisis, under any concept. There is no economic recession, GDP is increasing. There is no collapse in employment. We can say that there are sectors that are not doing well and others that are not doing well.’ And he concluded: ‘For me, Argentina should dollarize, without a doubt.’

Until he was appointed national deputy at the end of 2025, Ravier was academic director of the Faro Foundation, the think tank of Milei’s party commanded by Francisco Caputo, brother of presidential advisor Santiago Caputo. Now, with Bullrich’s support and the President’s confidence, he arrives at the spokesperson role amid an internal conflict that promises more fire than ever.
