Nicolás Pino Reelected to Lead the Argentine Rural Society

The Argentine Rural Society (SRA) defined its leadership for the 2026-2028 period in an election that had current president Nicolás Pino as the winner, who obtained 70% of the votes. The officialist list included in its platform the relocation of the institutional headquarters, the cleanup of finances, a greater presence of the Board of Directors in the interior, and the modernization of genealogical records. It also ratified demands for improvements in infrastructure, financing for producers, and technological updating.

Carlos Odriozola, an agronomist and producer, will accompany Pino in the vice presidency. Odriozola had been serving as director of the entity and coordinator of the Meat Commission.
