Interest-Free Fixed Installment Plan Is Coming! Here's How You Can Buy the Samsung Galaxy S24 or Motorola Edge 50 Pro in Installments

The dream of paying for your cell phone in fixed, interest-free installments is back. Samsung, Motorola, Xiaomi, and Apple join the plan that promises frozen prices. We tell you when it starts and which models are included.

Attention, tech fans! The government has just announced the return of the fixed, interest-free installment plan for purchasing cell phones, and brands are already jumping on board. From Samsung to Xiaomi, including Motorola and Apple, the mobile phone giants are preparing their best offers so you can bring home the latest smartphones without your wallet taking a hit.

According to official sources, the plan starts this month with terms of up to 12, 18, and even 24 fixed installments, with subsidized rates that will keep the list price unchanged throughout the year. The goal? Revive consumption in a market battered by inflation and the blue dollar. And note that brands have already confirmed models included in the deal.

Models with frozen prices

Let’s start with Samsung: the Galaxy S24, with its 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, 120 Hz refresh rate, 4000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and Exynos 2400 processor, will be available from $1,200,000 in 12 interest-free fixed installments. If you prefer the mid-range, the Galaxy A55, with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, 5000 mAh battery, and 50 MP main camera, starts at $550,000. Motorola is not far behind: the Edge 50 Pro, with a 6.7-inch pOLED display, 144 Hz, 4500 mAh battery with 125W turbo charging, and triple 50 MP + 13 MP + 10 MP camera, would be around $900,000. And the Moto G84, with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display, 5000 mAh battery, and 50 MP camera, from $350,000.

Xiaomi is also betting big: the Xiaomi 14, with a 6.36-inch AMOLED display, 120 Hz, 4610 mAh battery, 90W charging, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, could reach $1,000,000 in installments. The Redmi Note 13 Pro, with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, 120 Hz, 5100 mAh battery, and 200 MP camera, from $450,000. And Apple, though more selective, includes the iPhone 15 with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, 3349 mAh battery, and A16 Bionic chip, from $1,800,000 in 18 interest-free installments.

How to access?

Participating banks include Nación, Provincia, Galicia, and Santander, among others. Installments apply without needing a credit card, although you obviously need one. The rate is 0% nominal, with no inflation adjustment, so if the dollar spikes, you’re covered. Online stores like Frávega, Garbarino, and Musimundo are already preparing their catalogs.

However, slots are limited and demand promises to be very high. Don’t sleep on it: when the plan starts, the most sought-after models (like the Galaxy S24 or Edge 50 Pro) will fly off the shelves in hours. So start warming up, because this month you can change your phone without having to sell a kidney. Take advantage, because the fixed installment plan is back to stay!
