The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) announced the payment schedule for the Unemployment Benefit corresponding to July 2026. The financial aid, aimed at those who lost their formal employment, will be paid according to the last digit of each beneficiary’s National Identity Document (DNI).
The benefit is intended for people who are unemployed and meet the requirements established by Labor Contract Law No. 24,013. The benefit seeks to support the economic situation of the unemployed until they can re-enter the labor market.
How is the amount calculated?
The initial calculation takes 75% of the best normal and habitual net monthly remuneration from the last six months worked. However, there are minimum and maximum caps that cannot be exceeded. The amounts vary according to income and months worked with contributions during the last three years.
The number of installments ranges from 2 to 12, although workers over 45 years of age receive payment for six additional months. That is, they can access an extended period of up to 18 installments.

ANSES established the following schedule according to the last digit of the DNI:
- DNI ending in 0: Wednesday, July 8
- DNI ending in 1: Thursday, July 9
- DNI ending in 2: Friday, July 10
- DNI ending in 3: Monday, July 13
- DNI ending in 4: Tuesday, July 14
- DNI ending in 5: Wednesday, July 15
- DNI ending in 6: Thursday, July 16
- DNI ending in 7: Friday, July 17
- DNI ending in 8: Monday, July 20
- DNI ending in 9: Tuesday, July 21
Who can apply?
Those who have been dismissed without just cause, due to contract termination, or for external reasons, provided they were working in a dependent employment relationship, can access the Unemployment Benefit. It also applies to those who lost their jobs due to bankruptcy or company closure.
Required documentation
To carry out the procedure, you must present the original and a copy of your DNI, along with documentation proving unemployment. Valid documents include the dismissal telegram, certification of services and remuneration, or the instrument of termination of the employment contract.
How to apply?
The process can be done free of charge through the ANSES website, logging in with your CUIL and Social Security Password. It can also be done in person at an agency office, but you must schedule an appointment in advance.
