Honda Goes All In! Zero Interest Rates and Discounts of Up to US$5000 to Keep the Sales Boom Going

¡Honda se la juega! Tasas 0 y descuentos de hasta US$5000 para no frenar el boom de ventas

While the 0km car market shows signs of contraction — sales fell 9.9% in the first half of the year, according to the Association of Automobile Dealers of the Argentine Republic (Acara) — some brands refuse to throw in the towel. One of them is Honda, which grew 45.2% in registrations between January and June compared to the same period in 2025, and is now doubling down with a battery of benefits to keep the momentum going.

The Japanese automaker, which registered 3,077 units in the first half of the year compared to 2,119 the previous year, has been offering since July interest-free financing lines in 18 and 24 installments, in partnership with Banco Santander. The maximum amount to finance reaches $24,000,000 for models priced in pesos. The entire lineup is included in the promotion, meaning both the City and the HR-V, the Accord, and the rest of the range can be purchased without paying a single peso in interest.

But that’s not all. Honda also maintains promotional prices on its electrified models during July, with mouth-watering discounts. The Honda Civic Advanced Hybrid, for example, is available at US$49,900, a saving of US$4,100 off its list price of US$54,000. The SUV Honda CR-V EXL AWD drops to US$65,800, with a saving of US$5,000 from the US$70,800 list price. And the top-of-the-range CR-V Advanced Hybrid is offered at US$69,900, also with a five-thousand-dollar discount against its official price of US$74,900.

Additionally, the brand confirmed that the rest of the range will also have promotional prices at dealerships. And for those who choose the CR-V EXL AWD during July, the SUV comes with a free accessory kit: security nuts, all-season floor mats, cargo net, and spill-proof tray, plus maintenance services at 10,000 and 20,000 kilometers.

This growth by Honda is supported, according to industry sources, by the renewal of a large part of its portfolio in Argentina and the incorporation of new models, such as the W-RV, a compact SUV that competes in the hottest segment of the market. With zero interest rates and big discounts, the brand aims to maintain its pace in a context where Argentines’ wallets are increasingly tight.

List prices for July remained unchanged from the previous month, adding predictability in a country where prices soar. Honda’s move is clear: while the market cools down, they turn up the heat with financing and discounts. Will it be enough to keep breaking records? Time will tell, but for now, those thinking about changing their car have plenty of reason to visit a dealership.
