Pizza has once again brought good news to Argentine gastronomy. The international guide 50 Top Pizza, one of the most prestigious in the field, has once again distinguished a pizzeria from Buenos Aires among the best in the world. In its 2026 edition, Ti Amo, from Adrogué, was chosen as the second best in Latin America and ranked 21st in the global ranking, a position it maintains for the second consecutive year.
Organized by a committee of specialists in Italy, the awards recognize the best artisanal pizzerias in the world each year. For Ti Amo, this marks the fifth consecutive appearance on the international list.
Founded at the end of 2019 as a closed-door project in the backyard of a house, sisters Carola and Vittoria Santoro have kept Ti Amo on the radar of global rankings for some time.
“It all began with Carola’s passion for dough, which led her to offer pizzas privately. Then came the decision to open a full-fledged pizzeria: a tribute to Naples, from the team scarves to the images of [Diego] Maradona, in a cozy atmosphere where the feminine touch makes a difference and makes customers feel at home,” the guide highlighted.
“The most popular pizza is, of course, the Margherita, followed by the Sorrento, with its unmistakable citrus touch of lemon. Excellent service and a wide selection of drinks. A must-visit for lovers of contemporary Neapolitan pizza,” the experts considered.
As in this year, in 2025 Ti Amo was ranked 21st among the best 100 Italian pizzerias in the world. In 2024, the venture reached 30th place on the list, 10 spots ahead of its 2022 ranking. That year it took 40th place, and in 2023 it held 38th place. Additionally, on both occasions it was chosen as the best in the region. Along with that award, they received the One To Watch 2022 label in recognition of their talent.
The top spots in the ranking were occupied by products from different parts of the globe. The No. 1 spot was shared by I Masanielli, in Caserta, Italy, and Una Pizza Napoletana, in New York; second place went to The Pizza Bar on 38th, in Japan; No. 3 was obtained by Leggera Pizza Napoletana, in Brazil; and fourth and fifth places went to Confine, in Milan, and Diego Vitagliano Pizzeria, in Italy, respectively.
The Top 50 Pizzas guide also segments recognitions based on the region where they are located. In the case of the best in Latin America, Ti Amo was not the only Argentine to make the ranking.
In 14th place was another classic, Atte. Pizzería Napoletana. Located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo, the publication considered that “it has established itself as a trusted destination for Neapolitan pizza lovers.” “It offers a wide selection of pizzas (the mixed Italian cheeses is excellent), Argentine wines, and good cocktails by the glass, and above all, impeccable, fast, and attentive service that makes customers feel at ease,” they emphasized.
In 18th place is Chichilo’s, in Santa Fe, which they highlighted for its “perfect balance between quality and price.” The rest of the list was completed by Siamo nel Forno, also in Palermo, in 21st place, and Il Gatto Nero, in Valeria del Mar, in 49th.
